Professor Albrecht Mann (1925-2003)

University Professor in architectural history at the RWTH Aachen. Albrecht Mann Saturday, November 7, 1925 in Dresden is born and dies Friday, December 5, 2003 in Aachen. Albrecht Mann Ph.d. 1952 in art history at the free University of Berlin, the FU-Berlin. Since 1956 he has been at the RWTH. Here he is appointed on May 9, 1963 to the lecturer for building history and promoted to the Scientific Council and Professor on February 29, 1968. After his retirement on March 1, 1991 he continues continues his research, teaching and testing in construction history. He adds a new meaning the investigations on Aquisgrani as the granary of Charlemagne.
